Senen “Bing” Matoto is an accomplished professional manager who can provide to any coaching situation a perspective that could cover almost all facets of a business operation. Bing is presently a management consultant to several privately held and family owned corporations, a regular business columnist of The Daily Tribune, a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors and an executive coach. He is an Independent Director of Yuanta Savings Bank, a subsidiary of the 7th largest bank in Taiwan. He is also a Director of publicly listed AgriNurture Inc. and currently advises the Department of Finance for the Tax Reform (TRAIN) package for the capital markets.
He has been a Chairman, President and CEO, Board Director and Senior Vice President of several financial institutions, publicly listed corporations and non-profit organizations. His most recent stints as President were with investment banking and stock brokerage firms (Vicsal Investment, AB Capital Investment Corporation, VSec.Com). His previous significant affiliations were with the Ayala Group of Companies particularly the Bank of the Philippine Islands, BPI Capital Corporation, BPI Securities Corporation, Ayala International Finance Ltd (Hong Kong), Ayala Properties (Hong Kong), publicly listed Cebu Holdings and Cebu Property Ventures Development Corporation, P.T. Indo Ayala Leasing (Jakarta, Indonesia). He was also director of Mabuhay Vinyl Corporation, a publicly listed corporation engaged in the production of various chemical products and Chief Operating Officer of Prudential Bank. He was also Chairman of the Alabang Country Club, and, President of the Investment House Association of the Philippines and the Philippine Association of Stock Brokers and Dealers. He is also a Director and active member of the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines.
Bing finished his primary studies at the Ateneo de Manila University and graduated from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree. He also has a Masters in Business Management degree from the Asian Institute of Management.
His main strength in his executive coaching stints is his natural ability to provide the appropriate setting for an honest, open and trusting relationship with his coachees.
