This extensive background provides him with a nuanced understanding of organizational dynamics, leadership challenges, and the intricacies of navigating complex business environments.
Throughout his corporate journey, Chris collaborated with and served leading organizations such as Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson, gaining firsthand experience in developing and implementing effective strategies. His tenure as a General Manager at a local Kia Motors dealership further honed his leadership, operational management, and customer-centric approach.
Beyond his corporate roles, Chris has actively contributed his expertise as a consultant and facilitator. At the Barista and Coffee Academy of Asia, he served as a Marketing and Innovations Instructor, shaping the strategies of both local and international businesses in the coffee industry. As a skilled facilitator, he has trained hundreds of professionals from diverse companies including Chowking, Manulife, CIMB, Grab, and Nissan, equipping them with valuable skills and perspectives. His contributions also extended to the public sector as a key member of the University of the Philippines Public Administration Research and Extension Services Foundation (UPPAF) team, where he played a vital role in streamlining business permit processing and licensing for the cities of Manila, Pasig, and Quezon City, demonstrating his ability to drive tangible improvements at a systemic level.
Chris’s strong academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree in European Studies Business from the Ateneo de Manila University, providing him with a broad understanding of international business principles. His pursuit of continuous learning led him to earn a Post Graduate Degree in Innovation and Design Thinking from the Emeritus Institute of Management, in collaboration with MIT Executive Education, Columbia Business School, and Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth, equipping him with cutting-edge methodologies for problem-solving and innovation. He further holds a Design Sprint Masterclass Certificate from AJ&Smart Berlin and is a certified practitioner of NeuroLinguistic Programming (NLP), as well as a certified Associate Neuroplastician with npnHub Networks, enhancing his coaching toolkit with practical techniques and applied neuroscience knowledge.
Demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and passion for the arts, Chris is also one of the founders of the Ateneo Blue Repertory, the premier music theater organization of the Ateneo de Manila University. His early vision laid the groundwork for an organization that has thrived for over two decades, showcasing his ability to build and sustain impactful initiatives.
As a testament to his passion for coaching, Chris is also actively involved in the International Coaching Federation (ICF) community, currently serving as the DEIB Director of the Philippines Chapter, as well as a DEIB volunteer facilitator for the Global DEIB of the ICF.
On a personal note, Chris balances his professional pursuits with his enjoyment of video games and anime, and most importantly, cherishes his role as a dedicated father and husband.
