Maricar Testa

Car Testa is a Change Consultant and Certified Holistic Life, Career & Executive Coach with many years of coaching experience supporting the personal, professional and leadership development of professionals, managers, and executives, as well as students in graduate degree programs and executive education non-degree programs. As a coach, she brings a sense of curiosity, objectivity, and open-mindedness to empower her clients to learn more about themselves and their world. She enables them to enhance their self-awareness and positive intelligence, and act on their opportunities and challenges from a perspective of deeper knowing and a stronger sense of agency. Her approach enables clients to make informed decisions, be more resilient and to actively take steps to achieve what they want at work and in life.

Car is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), a credential issued by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), USA, the globally recognized association for professional coaches dedicated to advancing the art, science, and practice of professional coaching. She is certified by The Leadership Circle, a leadership development company, in the use of the Leadership Circle Profile. She completed her Certified Holistic Life, Career and Executive Coach training and certification from the Goal Imagery Institute, USA, and her Narrative Coach Enhanced Practitioner training from Dr. David Drake, The Moment Institute, USA & WEBECS. She completed her Advanced Professional Coaching Certification Course with Benchmark Consulting.

Car was a former Associate Partner in Accenture Philippines where she led consulting groups, namely, the Change Management Competency Group and the Government Market Unit, at different points in her career. She has over 30 years of Change Management and Organization and Human Performance consulting experience and led numerous client engagements and projects spanning various industries in both the private and public sectors. She is a Project Management Professional (PMP), a credential issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI), USA, the globally recognized association for project management professionals.

Car teaches in the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), a leading graduate school of business in the Philippines which is AACSB accredited. As an Adjunct Faculty over 10 years, she has taught management and leadership, project management, coaching skills, and leading change, among other subjects/topics, in various executive education non-degree programs and in masteral level degree programs. Before becoming an Adjunct Faculty, she was founder and president of her consulting and training outsourcing business and partnered with two major clients, one ITO/BPO company and one commercial bank, both leaders in their industries.

She holds an AB Psychology (Assumption College, Philippines), and a Master in Entrepreneurship, graduating with the distinction of Superior Performance (Asian Institute of Management, Philippines). She also completed all academic units and the comprehensive exams for a Master’s in Psychology (University of Santo Tomas Graduate School, Manila) but did not pursue her thesis.

Car is based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines.
