Team Coaching Certification Program

Your path towards the ICF Advanced Certification in Team Coaching

Program Overview

“Team coaching is one of the fastest growing disciplines in the coaching profession. In today’s complex workplace, organizations increasingly recognize the power of teams to innovate and drive their business or mission forward. Team coaching is critical to harness teams’ collective expertise, energy, and experience to accelerate performance and improve results.” – ICF

Team coaches help teams perform at their best to achieve their goals. They help teams learn, develop and transform into an engaged, agile, innovative, and self-sustaining team. For this to happen, relationships within the team must be deepened and synergized, first. Team members must feel safe in expressing their opinions and concerns. They must be comfortable engaging in healthy debates so they arrive at goals and best strategies aligned to a common purpose. They must operate on honest, open, and trusting relationships so they can think, decide and act better and faster as a team. When internal dynamics improve, team members can better align their perspectives and unite to address possible miscommunication or confusion around their mission, goals, roles, tasks, workflows, systems, and processes. It is only when the team is cohesive that they can build quality and value-adding relationships with their internal and external stakeholders.

You will learn directly from the president and founder of Benchmark Consulting, Julius C. Ordonez, MCC, ACTC, who is among the world’s first coaches to earn the ICF Advanced Certification in Team Coaching.

A team coach must be properly and sufficiently trained.

Bringing a team to a level where team members can freely speak up, build on each other’s ideas, resolve conflicts, turn diversity into strengths, leverage their collective expertise, continuously learn together, and consistently perform at their best is a complex process that requires specialized skills.

This is what Benchmark Consulting’s Team Coaching Certification Program is all about. Our content design and methodology are a product of our 20+ years of working and partnering with various culturally diverse teams from around the world. This 3-month certification program will equip you with the right mindset, knowledge, skill set, and proven methods that will prepare you for this complex discipline. It also meets the education and supervision requirements of the ICF Advanced Certification in Team Coaching credential.

Methodology

Our holistic approach uses the Knowing-Doing-Being framework to ensure that the participants are engaged in body, mind, and spirit.

ICF defines Coaching Supervision as a collaborative learning practice to continually build the capacity of the coach through reflective dialogue for the benefit of both coaches and clients.

In this program, each participant will receive 5 hours of coaching supervision throughout the 3-month internship period. Given the complex dynamics of coaching a team, the participants will need further support and guidance from a coaching supervisor.
